Riassunto:The usefulness of measuring project complexity is raised, and a comparative analysis between a project’s complexity, measured using the project schedules, vs a project´s performance is provided. The use of nodes and arcs of the work schedule of a project to assess its complexity is explained, adopting the methodology and formulas proposed by several researchers, producing their respective complexity indexes. In turn, earned value method to measure the performance of a project (performance index) is explained and finally its comparison is made using the Pearson correlation coefficient.
