| Summary: | Education is a very important topic nowadays, mainly because it supports the development of human potential. In order to have a better quality of life, it is necessary not only to work but also to strenghthen human resource’s scholastic aptitudes and the capability to create, innovate, and translate theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge. In this sense, the priority now is no longer product development but the ideas development, emphasizing on aspects such as learning, innovation and creativity, applied to the development of a society based on knowledge. Taking into account this new perspective, every individual becomes agent of his own development, utilizing available resources to improve his reality. This research proposes a statistical analysis of a measurement instrument of the three variables mentioned above, evaluating the degree of importance of each variable. The measurement instrument is applied to collect the data and validate the model. The results reveal the need for greater competition among academic institutions and among students, in a search for better oportunities for professional development and for recognition that increases the motivation to keep learning. In this way, the panamanian society will reach greater development in terms of cultural development and technical know how, taking advantage of the many opportunities available. |
