Summary:There is no doubt that developing solutions to facilitate the completion of therapy activities from home is a needed factor in our social environment. In a world where mobile technology is becoming increasingly important, our country cannot stay away from these advances, the use of a mobile device as a support tool in the rehabilitation of people must be available. This paper presents a proposal outlining the development of an application that helps physiotherapy activities of a patient be done from the comfort of his/her home, following the diagnose and prescription a doctor. The application generates reports of the physical activities for both the patient and for the doctor that can be viewed via a mobile phone. This paper includes an ontological classification of mobile devices and a previous study of the impact of the development of this technology in our country.
