Due to the boom in knowledge management recently a lot of literature can be found few years ago there were no cases of success but now is easy to have this and be able to focus on trying to replicate some cases of success in some organizationsActualmente, no basta contar con cantidades infinitas de información, además es requerida gestión de la misma, pero con este simple hecho tampoco es suficiente, puesto que en sí solo poseer la misma y saberla gestionar no sirve de mucho, ya que se necesita que tenga un sentido. De allí la necesidad en procesar, transformar y gestionar insumos e información para darle paso al conocimiento. Para esto se requiere de personas, herramientas, software especializados, entre otras, que permitan la utilización adecuada y óptima de dicho conocimiento. Debido al auge de la gestión del conocimiento recientemente se puede encontrar mucha literatura al respecto, unos años atrás no se encontraban casos de éxito, pero ahora es plausible contar con estos y poder enfocarnos en tratar de replicar dichos casos de éxito en algunas organizaciones.
