Summary:Technological advances allow offering a significant contribution in companies, both for employees and employers generating substantial impacts on labor development. This article shows teleworking as an innovative work model, which main characteristic is flexibility and productivity improvement.  It also allows the access opportunity to disabled people, nursing mothers, etc., through the remote access to this labor system.  This document refers to the actual status of teleworking within the city of Cuenca, Ecuador, in manufacturing companies of the canton, emphasizing all necessary steps to its implementation, technology, laws, and guidelines to propose an implementation model in these companies of the sector.
